Senior Consultant

Voluminant is seeking a sharp, adaptable, and entrepreneurial Senior Consultant to join our growing team. You’ll serve as a client-facing lead and trusted advisor, helping organizations — commercial enterprises, federal and state agencies, and mission-driven operations — solve real-world challenges through strategy, modernization, and performance improvement. This role blends structured analysis with creative thinking and calls for someone who can translate big ideas into practical action.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage consulting engagements across strategy, operations, digital modernization, and organizational transformation.
• Conduct needs assessments, stakeholder interviews, and workflow analyses to uncover performance bottlenecks and growth opportunities.
• Facilitate client workshops, briefings, and working sessions — bringing clarity to complexity.
• Design and deliver actionable recommendations supported by clear, data-driven insights.
• Prepare executive-level deliverables, from polished presentations to implementation roadmaps.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to Voluminant’s culture of excellence and curiosity.
• Support proposal development and business growth efforts through thought leadership and solution design.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of consulting or directly relevant industry experience, preferably in federal, state/local, or enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to work directly with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills — able to connect dots others miss.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; you can brief the C-suite or the shop floor with equal clarity.
• Proficiency with tools like PowerPoint, Excel, Miro/Mural, and project management platforms (e.g., Asana, Trello, MS Project).
• Experience with at least one of the following: digital transformation, workforce development, operational efficiency, strategic planning, or change management.

Nice-to-Have Experience

• Exposure to AI, automation, or data-driven transformation projects.
• Experience working in or with federal government clients.
• Familiarity with LLMs, simulations, VR/AR in training contexts, or SaaS implementation projects.
• PMP, Prosci, Lean Six Sigma, or other relevant certifications.
